If you are an iPhone user, you might want to pay attention to this news. Recently, Apple announced the new iOS 17.2 software update is coming soon. So. what should you know about it?

According to Apple, the new update will feature NameDrop mode that enables you to share boarding passes easily, movie passes, and other e-wallet passes with other iPhone users. That’s a very convenient addition for the iOS and we expect iPhone users will be pleased with this update.

To access this feature, you can tap on the wallet app, and then tap on the pass that you want to share. Next, you will need to hold your iPhone on top of another iPhone. If you are doing this right, a “Share” button will appear below the pass on your iPhone. After all that, tap the "Share" button to send the pass to the other iPhone via AirDrop. To do this, both iPhones must be updated to iOS 17.2.

Sure, you can share these passes through other features like Airdrop, Messages, Mail and so forth through the iOS sharing menu. However, this feature should provide you with a more convenient and streamlined sharing experience. As of now, this update is in its final beta testing and should roll out globally next week.
