Now that the iPhone 15 is out, everyone wonders what the device can do. It seems that Apple’s latest entry is a versatile device. That said, do you know that iPhone 15 lets you screen mirror up to 4K HDR?

According to the tech and specs on Apple’s website, all iPhone 15 variants support DisplayPort. Interestingly, the DisplayPort is built into the USB-C port for all iPhone 15. That means, it can play up to 4K/60Hz natively to a DisplayPort-equipped external display. You can also screen mirror on TV with a supported USB-C to DisplayPort cable.

Moreover, you can use Apple’s designated USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter for this purpose. However, HDR is not supported for this method. This feature is a welcomed addition to the phone. Previously, the older model could only screen mirrors with a maximum resolution of 1080p. On the other hand, this feature is unavailable for the iPad as of now.
