Defense Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has announced the newly added quarantine stations for all suspected Malaysian and foreign visitors. A few prominent five-star hotels were also designated as quarantine stations for Covid-19 out of the 63 new gazetted sites by the federal government yesterday.
The few five-star quarantines stations are the Palace of the Golden Horses in Seri Kembangan, Tanjung Rhu Resort in Langkawi, Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur, Hilton Kuala Lumpur and Dorsett Grand Subang in Subang Jaya. However, those who are in a five-star hotel quarantine station will not get any services including housekeeping or get to choose which room to stay from during the quarantine period.

Malaysia has now a total of 551 gazetted quarantine stations for Covid-19 after the announcement of the additional 63 stations to accommodate around 40,000 people involving all Malaysians and visitors who are returning from overseas as Defense Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced the enforcement of compulsory 14-day quarantine order for those who enter the country.
