
MediaTek is rumoured to be coming out with a new update for its latest flagship chip, the Dimensity 9400. No official name has been revealed yet, but what is known is that the chip is claimed to use the new generation Cortex-X925 CPU which operates at speeds of up to 3.7 GHz. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, the Cortex-X925 CPU in the previous Dimensity 9400 chip operates at a speed of 3.62GHz. This indicates that the new chip will only offer a minimal performance boost. In addition, Oppo and Vivo are expected to be the first two manufacturers to use it in their upcoming devices. MediaTek is also expected to announce the new chip around March.
We have yet to confirm other details on the device. Hopefully, everything will be sorted out by MediaTek soon. As of now, there are no Malaysia release date.
