As per tradition, HONOR Malaysia would always launch a new X-series at the end of the year and here we have finally witnessed the HONOR 9X's official launch. Priced at just RM999, the most interesting thing about this phone is not really the tech specs but rather the fact that it's also installed with Google Mobile Services. Anyway, here's everything you need to know about the phone and pre-order.
The pre-order of the HONOR 9X will begin tomorrow (22 November) on hihonor.com.my and Lazada platform. Depending on which platform you're planning to get from, there is a special deal for each starting from 22 until 27 November 2019 for every HONOR 9X purchase. For hihonor, you get an "add-on RM0.99" and a free HONOR Sports Pro Headphone, whereas for Lazada, you can get a free HONOR Band 5 Sport and gift box. After the pre-order period, the phone will officially go on sale on 28 November across the nation at their experience stores as well as Shopee with exclusive gift packs.
To recap the tech specs and features, the HONOR 9X comes in black and blue. Despite having a FullView display, the fingerprint sensor is located at the back
The triple rear camera comprises of a 48MP main camera + 8MP super wide angle + 2MP depth lens setup. The pop-up front camera uses a 16MP sensor
The usual speaker grill, USB Type C, 3.5mm headphone jack are at the bottom. Btw, it only supports 10W charging for the 4000mAh battery
Nice to see GMS pre-installed there despite the ongoing trade war. How HONOR managed to get around this is having the phone sporting a Kirin 710F chipset which is not restricted
