It didn't take long for realme Malaysia to announce the arrival of the realme 9 Pro series and it's coming real soon on 2 March 2022. Just recently announced last week, the realme 9 Pro+ 5G will be the first to enter and also the first phone brand to launch with the Sony IMX766 OIS camera.
To recap some of the features, the realme 9 Pro+ 5G is also the company's photochromic design. This means that the phone can change the reflection of the colours thanks to the Light Shift design, albeit only available on the Sunrise Blue model. The phone’s back cover will completely change from blue to red when exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet light and changes back to blue again within 2-5 minutes when doing the opposite.
As the first to launch with a Sony IMX766 OIS camera, the large 1/1.56” sensor can capture up to 63.8% more light than its predecessor. Also, it's powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G 6nm chipset which provides 5G connectivity. That said, it has 6GB and 8GB of RAM, as well as 128GB and 256GB of storage.
