Two months ago, realme announced another C series device called the realme C51 but no word about when it will come to Malaysia. Looks like we won't need to wait any more longer, as realme Malaysia just confirmed that the phone will debut on 27 September 2023.
As an entry-level device, here's a recap of the tech specs and features. The realme C51 supports 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage, as well as 8GB of Dynamic RAM Expansion technology. It also has a 5000mAh battery pack and supports 33W SUPERVOOC fast charge and a 50MP primary camera as part of the triple rear camera setup.
The front camera is 5MP and is part of the Mini Capsule function that provides incoming notifications and messages. This includes data usage, steps count and the phone's battery status. Other than that, the realme C51 runs on realme UI T based on Android 13 out of the box, and the display measures 6.7 inches in 720p resolution and has a 90Hz refresh rate.
According to realme Malaysia, the realme C51 is priced at around RM500. For reference, the realme C55 was priced from RM699 back in March 2023 and it was the first realme device to have an interactive function similar to the iPhone's Dynamic Island. We are just three days away so stay tuned until the official announcement then.
