In this short news, it has been confirmed that realme Malaysia will debut the realme C55 here. The phone is scheduled to launch on 28 March 2023, just a week from now.
On top of that, it looks like we may be getting the 8GB + 256GB variant. For context, this model costs 2,999,000 Rupiah in Indonesia. That's roughly around ~RM871 after direct currency conversion, so we expect it to be affordable for the masses. Hopefully, it would be below the RM1000 price range.
Besides that, the realme C55 also features a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, a 6.52-inch 90Hz FHD display, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. There is also a 64MP + 2MP dual rear camera, an 8MP front camera and last but not least, the Dynamic Island-like feature, which realme calls the Mini Capsule is the main highlight.
