In early March, we reported that the realme C55 2023 edition just got its SIRIM certification. Well, realme Malaysia just confirmed its entry so we will be seeing it real soon, possibly by the end of March or early April 2023.

Last year, realme held an online contest asking fans about their Dynamic Island ideas for realme phones and we were quite surprised to see it debut on an entry-level phone. Calling it the Mini Capsule, it functions similarly to the Dynamic Island from the iPhone 14 Pro, such as showing battery levels, charging status, and data usage on the phone.

It will also show other important notifications, whereby the camera hole punch expands to communicate the information to you. There’s also a dynamic light animation for interaction with the user. According to realme Malaysia, the first batch of scenes is mainly set for fast charging, and the following scenes will be continuously upgraded according to user needs.

To refresh your memory, the realme C55 features a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset and we may get either the 6GB + 128GB or 8GB + 256GB memory variant. The phone also features a 6.52-inch 90Hz FHD+ LCD, a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, and a 64MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup.

There's a good chance that the phone could be below RM900 since it's priced at 2,499,000 Rupiah (~RM726), but we have to wait and see. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
