The Samsung Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra will reportedly have bigger batteries. According to the latest information, the vanilla Galaxy S23 will get a larger battery pack as well. Well-known Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station claims the device will feature a 3,900mAh battery.

The tipster says it would be a power unit with a rated capacity of 3,785mAh, meaning a typical batter capacity of 3,900mAh. Although it's not much for a 2023 phone, it's 5.5% more battery juice compared to the current Galaxy S22. That should be noticeable, considering the device keeps the same shape and size as its predecessor.

Furthermore, Samsung is rumoured to use the stacked battery technology for the Galaxy S23 batteries. The technology will allow for tighter packaging of battery components. Therefore, manufacturers can fit up to ten per cent more power in an identical package. It has been used in EV (electric vehicle) batteries.
