After launching a series of flagship smartphones this year, OnePlus is going back to how the company originally got famous for by launching a budget smartphone. The OnePlus Z is an upcoming mid-range device from the brand that is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. Today, an Indian platform called DesiDime that offers customer rewards programs has leaked the tech specs and price of the device through a survey.
The survey suggested that the OnePlus Z will have a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G SoC, triple rear camera setup (64MP + 12MP + 2MP) and a 16MP selfie shooter at the front. Other than that, an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4300mAh battery with 30W fast charging support are mentioned in it as well. The device is also expected to have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Besides the tech specs, the rumoured price of the OnePlus Z has also appeared in the survey, suggesting that it would be sold at 24,990 INR (~RM1,412). There is also a rumour saying that the device will be launched on 10 July. However, take all this information with a pinch of salt as a tipster named Max.J has pointed out that the tech specs from the survey are not true, and he's reliable when it comes to OnePlus' devices.
