The vivo X5Pro was recently and officially announced with an interesting mix of tech specs and features. Going for a flat and thin design it uses a slightly rounded aluminum metal frame which looks very familiar. On one hand, the phone packs in a rather midrange 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM, dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity. On the camera side, the rear camera is 13MP but the 8MP front camera has a special feature that allows it to take super-resolution interpolated shots of 32MP. Other stand-out features include the 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 full HD pixel resolution covered by slightly curved 2.5D glass and an eye-recognition technology that will use your iris to unlock your phone. It also has a 2300 mAh battery, Android 5.0 and Funtouch OS 3.0. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but it is going for about $443 (RM1589).
