Today, U Mobile has announced a new partnership with Samsung. For those who are interested in signing up for the latest U Home 5G broadband plan, customers can also get the latest Samsung 4K Smart TVs, alongside a free WiFi 6 router.
According to Navin Manian, Chief Marketing Officer of U Mobile, he said the latest U Home 5G bundling includes an 85-inch Crystal UHD DU7000 4K Smart TV (a surprise to be sure but a welcome one). To our knowledge, no other telcos have offered such a humongous-sized smart TV before, so this makes U Mobile the first in the industry.
However, if customers prefer smaller specifications, they can also choose other options such as 50, 65 and 75-inch Samsung Smart TVs, with monthly payments starting from just RM65. Besides a free three-month instalment and free WiFi-6 5G router, customers also enjoy free delivery and TV installation service when they subscribe to this U Home 5G bundle.
In case you're wondering, Samsung's Crystal UHD Smart TV lineup is the baseline of modern TVs in the market today. It uses an LED panel and is usually marketed as a 4K UHD TV. While the image quality itself is fine, it pales in comparison with other higher-tier models with the likes of QLED, OLED and others.
