In case if you didn't know, this year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Pokemon franchise. So in conjunction with the special milestone, CASIO is collaborating with the Pokemon Company on a new CASIO BABY-G Pokemon watch (model BA-110PKC).
Using the Pokemon mascot, Pikachu, the watch is in pink with several Pikachu silhouettes all over the strap. It will be the second model featuring Pikachu and you can even spot a heart shape at the tip of the tail. Being a CASIO watch, it features shock and water-resistant as well as a decorated Pikachu at the back. The special package also comes with a legit Pokeball inside.
It will be released in Japan first for 19,800 Yen which is roughly around ~RM753. We aren't sure if CASIO will keep this as a Japanese exclusive but the company did import a CASIO BABY-G x Girls' Generation and Hello Kitty watch models here before. Plus, they imported a special One Piece and Dragon Ball Z G-SHOCK watch edition as well.
Would you get one if it was launched in Malaysia too? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
