As we reported before, realme will be launching the realme GT Neo 5 in China first on 9 February 2023. But before the launch, the company released a new teaser video showcasing a new feature on the phone.

As you can see in the promo video below, the realme GT Neo 5 will have a new RGB LED light beside the triple rear camera. Depending on the phone's status, the RGB LED light can turn to a few colours to tell you what's happening. For instance, red means low battery, purple means there's an incoming call, white is for new messages, and playing mobile games will show various colours.

Also in the video, it's confirmed that the realme GT Neo 5 will feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, as well as a new 240W fast charging technology that was already announced a few days ago. Moreover, the phone also has a new Dynamic Island notification UI look but it doesn't interact with the punch-hole front camera.

Besides that, rumours have it that the realme GT Neo 5 could use a 6.74-inch AMOLED 144Hz display with 1.5K resolution. It should also run on realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 out of the box and could come with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

We won't have to wait that long for the realme GT Neo 5 soon. The phone should also make its way to the MWC 2023 in Barcelona for public viewing. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
