As you should know, Samsung tends to release a limited edition of its new phones once in a while. This time, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 is getting a new treatment - a Doraemon Special Edition. It's also only available in Hong Kong.
In collaboration with the "100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS" Tour in Hong Kong, Samsung will only offer 800 units of Galaxy Z Flip6 Doraemon Special Edition. It comes in a nice blue box package with several accessories inside which includes a Doraemon figurine and a Galaxy Z Flip6 Doraemon back cover.
The Doraemon figurine has a trick in its pouch (geddit?). It also has a special magnet design to place Doraemon anywhere you want. Also, as always, the Galaxy Z Flip6 Doraemon Special Edition's UI is using the Doraemon theme. The cover display will show the Doraemon-themed clock animation too.
It's unlikely that it will launch in Malaysia but for the Hong Kong market, the pre-order has already begun and those who purchase it will get an exclusive Doraemon Special Edition Tote bag. It's only available in one memory configuration - 12GB + 512GB for HK$10,698.00 (~RM6.4K).
The last time that Samsung released a special edition for the Galaxy Z Flip lineup was a Pokemon theme version back in 2022. Again, it wasn't available in Malaysia as it was exclusive to South Korea. You can check out what it looks like on our news coverage right here.
