As some of you already heard, unifi just officially launched their new unifi Plus Box product which is powered by Android TV. It's a new unifi Home plan with a wide variety of entertainment features from as low as RM149 per month and if you're wondering whether it's worth getting one, well, let's break it down on what's in for you.

First up, anyone who subscribes to the new Home plan will get the unifi Plus Box for free so that's nice. Not only that, almost all the shows that are available in the Plus Box have 4K resolution as well as having your favourite apps pre-installed there such as - unifi TV, BBC Player, YuppTV, Dimsum, Viu, YouTube and more. Of course, you can also project your mobile, tablet or laptop content onto the TV as long as it has the unifi PlayTV app.

As for the price packages, there is also the RM189 and RM199 (promotional price, RRP is RM259) package with different Internet speed. According to their website, they said the unifi Home 300Mbps for RM199 per month is the most popular one as it comes with a free six-month Viu subscription and unifi PlayTV app access up to 5 devices. Besides that, all three unifi Home plan packages have the same features.

For existing customers, they can change to the new plan with an additional RM10 per month to the monthly charges. Unfortunately, Netflix is not available on this but at least there's iflix.
