Around 4 million data claims belonging to U Mobile customers were sold through the Breachforum black market yesterday. According to Amanz, these hackers are asking $5000 (~RM23378.21) for the user data they have successfully stolen. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, U Mobile has not yet issued any official statement confirming whether what is being sold is really their customer's data. Breachforum has become a trading place for various personal data that are easily stolen by hackers. Some data leaks from Malaysia have also previously been offered through this forum.

Moreover, the operator of the site has been put on the FBI's wanted list and the original site has been seized, it is still operating under a new address. We have yet to confirm other data on this subject. Hopefully, everything will be resolved soon.
