The accessories company has released a screen protector that will kill almost all the bacteria on your smartphone.
Otterbox's Amplify Glass Anti-Microbial screen protector is integrated with antimicrobial technology registered with the EPA. It is able to kill 99.9% of surface bacteria based on the Japanese Industrial Standard tests, which are conducted at perfect breeding conditions for microscopic critters.
The company has also teamed up with Corning to embed ionic silver in the glass, which prevents the coating to be washed away over time. Therefore, there will be no degradation to damage resistance, clarity, or touch sensitivity. The screen protector offers up to five-times greater scratch resistance as well for protection.
