We don't do a lot of Oukitel news here. In fact, the last time that we did was two years ago when Oukitel tried to expand in Malaysia showing off their devices carrying those big battery packs up to 6080mAh. In this news, the Oukitel K12 isn't likely coming to Malaysia but we just want to tell you that it has a 10,000mAh battery.

So yes, 10,000mAh battery in that smartphone. It's good to know that the device isn't as fat as the Energizer Power Max P18K Pop that showed up at MWC 2019 (and failed to get crowdfunding) but anyway, the Oukitel K12 is said to be capable of standing by up to 31 days with a SIM card in it, a full week of normal usage, more than two full days from blasting the music at maximum volume, and 14.5 hours from watching binge watching videos at max volume and brightness to deplete the battery.

Despite the humongous battery, the phone can surprisingly charge back up fairly fast as well with the 5V / 6A fast charger support. This allows the phone to be fully charged at 100% within 2 hours and 20 minutes. Also for having a 10000mAh battery, it can also act as a powerbank.

In other tech specs, it features a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 with an 8MP front camera in a waterdrop notch on top. The camera configuration on the back is a16MP + 2MP combo with PDAF support, powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 64GB storage (expandable up to 128GB), running on Android 9 Pie out of the box, supports NFC and more.

If you're wondering how much this phone cost, it's selling at AliExpress and GearBest for $239.99 (~RM1002), then $249.99 (~RM1044) after 24 June 2019. As we mentioned, this phone isn't probably coming to Malaysia but there's nothing to stop you from buying one. Just saying, hehe.
