If you are a fan of Pokemon, you might have heard of Palworld. According to Engadget, the game has sold over a million copies just 8 hours after its release. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, the game is developed by PocketPair and it is infamously known among the community as “Pokemon with Guns”. As a result, the game’s server has experienced massive traffic causing it to crash. According to the developer, they are working on the fix for it as soon as possible.

However, this data is recorded on Steam. So, we don’t have the overall data for the total sales. But that should give us a good idea of how well the game is doing currently. This success could be attributed to how dark and gritty the game is. After all, it is a parody of the beloved and popular Pokemon franchise.

In case you didn’t know, you can capture these monsters called “Pals”. You can do almost anything with them. That includes selling, slavery, eating them and of course, battling them to death. Even the game trailer shows the corpses of your Pals piling on top of each other.

As of now, you can get the game now from Steam for only RM64.80. We have yet to confirm other details on the game. However, we could expect it to come to other platforms and even Sony consoles in the future.
