This could be the final design of the OnePlus Buds

We have talked about the OnePlus Buds before and in this latest news, some new render images have appeared online and we think this pretty much seals the deal. According to 9to5google.com, they downloaded the latest OnePlus 8 update and dug out OnePlus Buds rendered images that tally with previous rumours.

From the images, it seems that OnePlus would launch the wireless earphones in three different colour models which are black, white and blue. The blue models are very similar to the ones that Carl Pei wore during his interview with MKBHD last week, so we are quite convinced although nothing is official yet. On top of that, the design is heavily inspired by Apple Airpods with no silicon earbuds to be seen, but also retaining the flat circular surface on the outer part from their OnePlus Bullets Wireless series.

The images from the update also showed us how the wireless earphones could be connected easily, as well as the touch controls. We got a good look at the charging casing as well which has a nice "egg" shape but flatter. The LED light outside is probably an indicator for the battery level and there's a good chance that it could support wireless charging.

What do you think of the design? The new OnePlus Buds will be revealed very soon tomorrow (21 July) and you can participate in the first-ever AR livestream in Malaysia.
