We are now in May and there's still no sign of a new Huawei flagship phone for the first time in years. Normally, they would unveil the latest P series from March onwards but the trouble with the US government is unfortunately far from over. Here's the latest news development of the rumoured Huawei P50 series.

From the sources, it seems that some phone case manufacturers have an image render of how the phones could look like. Like before, the P50 series might sport a quad-rear camera but in an unusual design as seen below. At the top part of the camera module, the top right looks like some kind of a laser focus sensor whereas the most bottom is a periscope lens.

Leica lenses are still very much part of the design so we won't be surprised about that. Aside from that, the image render that you're seeing is the P50 equipped with a phone casing already. This highlights that the camera bump is quite protruding and the phone should have a dual-curved display. You can see a single punch-hole front camera too.

From the Weibo forums, a Chinese leaker claimed that the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro are currently in mass production. There could be a P50 Pro+ which might be released at a later date. June may be the month where Huawei finally reveals the P50 series and there could be other products too. Guess we will just have to wait and see.
