Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced this week that the public can pay traffic violation fines and renew road tax through the MyJPJ app without having to go to the counter in person. So, what should you know about it?
In addition to this, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) has also introduced a traffic ticket discount offer, starting from January 3, 2025, for 6 months, certain types of traffic tickets will only cost RM150. Here are the steps to pay your traffic fine via the MyJPJ APP :
- Open MyJPJ APP and click Bayaran Saman .
- Select the traffic ticket that needs to be paid.
- Check the box for the relevant tickets.
- Click Bayar Saman.
- After completing the payment, the system will display Berjaya (Payment Successful).
Discount Offer Details
The following three types of traffic tickets are reduced from RM300 to RM150:
- Automatic safety awareness system (Saman 53A).
- Notice of Investigation (Notis Panggilan Temu Siasat).
- Notice of sticker (Notis 115/Notis JPJ (P23).
