This probably isn't the Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design you've been looking for

Video renders of a Huawei branded phone with an 18:9 aspect ratio display have surfaced recently via TargetYouTube, but it probably isn't the Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design smartphone everyone has been looking for. The key reasons being that while the Huawei branding has been reproduced, there is no sign of any Porsche Design logo or branding at all. Also, the lack of any side metal frames makes it rather suspicious so, we'd say nice renders kid, but this probably isn't the Mate 10 Porsche Design.

Like the Huawei Mate 10, the Mate 10 Porsche Design is expected to pack in the AI-dedicated NPU (Neural Processing Unit) Kirin 970 processor and Leica cameras but since it is the higher-end version we expect it to have 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It would be nice if the Mate 10 series are IP68 water resistant as well.

No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but with the previous Mate 9 Porsche Design costing RM6999 ($1657) on pre-order, we expect the Mate 10 Porsche Design to be about RM7499 ($1776) and not the suspiciously low "up to $1000" price tag in the video below. We seriously recommend you take this rumour with a whole sack of salt and to stay tuned to TechNave.com for all your tech news and reviews.
