Based on a statement by @RODENT950 on Twitter, it seems that Huawei’s upcoming P40 series could be priced cheaper, due to the fact that it does not come with Google Mobile Services. The tweet also mentioned that we can expect the aforementioned smartphone series, could be priced anywhere between RMB3599(~RM2116) to RMB6599(~RM3881).

With that said, the Huawei P40 series will feature the Huawei Mobile Service instead, similar to that of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. Do take every bit of information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Huawei has yet to provide an official statement regarding the price cut.

There is also no official information in regards to the official Malaysia release date, complete tech specs as well as local pricing of the smartphones for now.
