Threads might allow you to post long essays like on X

Threads is reportedly testing a feature that will allow you to write long articles on the platform. When used, short excerpts of long essays will be displayed in a small grey window. So, what should you know about it?

 

It's available for premium users only

For your information, the long article can then be read by clicking on this small window. This support for uploading long articles is similar to the Articles feature that has been supported on X since last year.

On X, Articles was only available to Twitter Premium+ subscribers and was seen as a way to turn X into a news site. Although Articles has been around for a while, it's rare to see it used by Premium+ subscribers.

As of now, there are no further details on the news. So, we should wait for more announcements from Threads.
