If you are familiar with TikTok, you might know that music is a big thing on that platform. Recently, the Chinese tech company has announced a collaboration with popular music streaming platforms. That said, what should you know about it?
For your information, this collaboration aims to make it easy for you to be directly redirected to these platforms after finding music on a video posted on the social network. As a result, you can find the songs trending on the social network directly on music platforms such as Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music.
In addition, this new feature is called called "Add to Music App," and it will take the form of an "Add Song" button. You can access it by clicking on the name of the track used, displayed in the bottom right-hand corner of a TikTok video. Then, you can choose from either Spotify, Apple Music or Amazon to listen to the full version.
As of now, the “Add Song” feature is initially available in the United States and the United Kingdom. Plus, a #NewMusic page was created to help users discover the latest songs trending on the app. We have yet to confirm more details about the app. At this point, we can only wait and see what TikTok has planned.
