The news about TikTok is all the rage these days. We recently reported that Elon Musk could be in talks of acquiring the operation business in the US but it's best to take it with a pinch of salt. Today, two different news outlets are saying TikTok could get a 270-day extension or be shut down on Sunday.

According to sources, a senator from the Democratic faction, Ed Markey is said to be filing the "Extend the TikTok Deadline Act". He believes that the TikTok ban "would impose serious consequences on millions of Americans who depend on the app for social connections and their economic livelihood". If the bill passes, TikTok will have more time to settle the issue.

On the other hand, analysts are not seeing any possibilities. Another news report states that TikTok plans to shut down if all else fails. On the technical side of things, Americans can still use the TikTok app but service providers in the US will be barred from working with the company. This applies the same to Apple and Google, as they will be removing the app from their app stores at this rate.

We are only just three days away to see what will really happen. Until then, stay tuned for the official news only at TechNave.com.
