TikTok launches music-focused platform "TikTok for Artists"

Whether you like it or not, TikTok is a powerful platform with plenty of influence in 2025. Although it has always been about short videos, music content is equally popular on the platform. That could be why TikTok recently soft-launched its new "TikTok for Artists" platform.

According to TikTok, TikTok for Artists is an "all-in-one music insights platform for artists on TikTok". Its goal is to help artists manage their music, connect with fans, view performance analytics, and more. However, users must have a certified TikTok Artist account to use the platform. With TikTok for Artists, you can use the platform to create campaigns to promote upcoming releases. They can also monetise their campaigns and set up pre-save campaigns on Spotify and Apple Music. In addition, sources claim that merchandising will be allowed in the future. Currently, the platform is available only in Australia, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, and South Korea.
