While it was not mentioned in the press release, the option to save to Apple Music was also revealed as seen in the attached graphic. With Add to Music, users can save songs they found on TikTok by pressing a new button called ‘Add Song’ next to a track name at the bottom of a TikTok video the For You Feed. The first time a user presses the button, they can choose to save it to their preferred music streaming service.

By default, for Amazon Music, the song will be added to the TikTok Songs playlist or the playlist of your choice, while on Spotify, it will be added to the Liked Songs playlist. However, you can save to add the track to a new or existing playlist on the music streaming apps.

It is unknown whether this feature will make its way to TikTok in Malaysia. Well, do stay tuned to TechNave for the latest developments on this and for more trending tech news.
