TikTok today announced that they will end their music streaming service which was offered on a limited basis in several countries before, under the name TikTok Music. The reason behind the termination was not specified. That said, what should you know about it?
For your information, TikTok Music was previously introduced in 2023, in several countries, including Indonesia and Singapore. Through it, it positions the offer as an alternative to Spotify and Apple Music – not to mention that TikTok is ready to license a number of songs for their platform.
In addition, TikTok Music will be completely discontinued in November, and users are given until October 28 to download data and transfer playlists to other platforms. We have yet to confirm other details on the news. Hopefully, everything will be resolved soon.
