TikTok has now started informing sellers on their platform, stating that it will introduce a new charge, namely a Platform Support Fee of RM0.50 or RM0.54 after adding SST. This charge will start being levied on all successfully delivered purchases made through the platform, effective 15 February 2026.

For your information, this charge is applied to every item successfully shipped by the seller to the buyer, regardless of the price of the item sold. This charge is in addition to the various existing charges imposed on the platform.
Moreover, TikTok states that items that are shipped, but cancelled or returned, are still subject to this fee. If a purchase is cancelled before delivery, the fee will be refunded. Previously, Shopee also introduced more or less the same charges, effective July 16, 2025.
