TikTok yesterday announced the launch of TikTok Pulse, a new advertising programme that will allow the platform’s top creators to earn substantially more than its current monetisation programme. Pulse will allow advertisers to buy inventory in the top 4 percent of all videos in 12 different categories on TikTok, which will directly benefit creators.

As reported by Variety, in its initial stage, the programme will be open to creators and publishers that have at least 100,000 followers. With Pulse, TikTok will “begin exploring” a first advertising-revenue share program with creators, public figures and media publishers.

In a statement, TikTok said that its focus is on developing monetisation solutions and available markets. This is to ensure that creators on the platform feel valued and rewarded.

The company’s global head of business marketing, Sofia Hernandez said that campaigns under Pulse will be ‘brand safe’ and will use ‘inventory filter’ to screen content prior to ads being served. This will allow advertisers to put their message in front of communities of interest.

TikTok Pulse will be available in the United States starting from next month. After that, it will expand to other countries starting from September 2022.

So, now’s the perfect time to grow your TikTok following and potentially earn more on the platform. What do you guys think?
