Since Qualcomm has announced its latest flagship chipset, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, some of you might be wondering when will the first batch of smartphones arrive. The good news is that we've received information regarding which smartphone manufacturers will join the first round of the release, and they're going to make the industry lively again.
According to Yogesh Brar, the devices will start coming in July. The brands joining the lineup are IQOO, Realme, Xiaomi, and OnePlus. It's almost certain that Xiaomi will launch a device with the chip next month, and it's likely to be the Xiaomi 12 Ultra which the company will bring cameras co-developed with Leica.
Besides Xiaomi, iQOO and realme are companies that jump at a chance to release new devices powered by the latest flagship chips, so it's not surprising that they will launch theirs as well. As for OnePlus, the OnePlus 10T 5G is the only device from the company expected to include the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC this year. However, OnePlus' offering might not arrive as soon as July, so we might have to wait a little longer.
