So apparently, Celcom held an eSports qualifying round at the Academy of Esports, Iskandar Puteri on 15 October. It started way back from 10 September 2017 and the qualifiers saw 78 teams around the nation battling out for the wild card spot for The Major League, Championed by Celcom Finals that will be held soon.
During qualifying round, Team High Ground won the wild card spot at the end and brought home RM10,000. But not only that, the local DotA 2 team will join other seven international DotA 2 teams competing for a prize pool of RM 300,000 was announced for The Major League, Championed by Celcom Finals. The other international DotA 2 teams are Fnatic (Malaysia), Warriors Gaming Unity (Malaysia), EHOME (China), iG Vitality (China), Clutch Gamers (Thailand), Evos (Indonesia), and Execration (Philippines).
