Today, Toshiba TV announced three new TVs for the Malaysian market. Called the Z870M, Z670M and M550M TV, there is a special starting price of RM3999 and comes with a good set of freebies on Shopee during the pre-order period until 30 September 2023 (while stocks last).
Toshiba's latest TVs come equipped with a new REGZA Engine ZRi chipset. It's an AI-driven technology that optimises audio-visuals according to the content and surrounding environment. Additionally, it has a mini-LED backlight that helps to deliver the best contrast and brightness possible, alongside the Full Array Local Dimming Pro to dynamically adjust backlight zones. Other notable features include the Quantum Dot Colour technology, Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10+, and HLG.
The Z870M is also marketed towards gamers, as it's equipped with Game Mode Pro enhances the gaming experience with a 144Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision and supports AMD FreeSync technology. IMAX Enhanced is also integrated, which digitally remasters 4K HDR content and Apple users can make use of the Smart Sharing. This allows them to stream movies, music, games and photos with any Apple device via the Apple HomeKit.
On the other hand, the Z670M is also quite similar to the Z870M. The M550M is the lesser variant of the three, using a REGZA Engine ZR chipset and a Colour Re-Master Pro to deliver vivid colours and detailed contrast. Moreover, the chipset can also combine Digital Noise Reduction and AI 4K Upscaling to deliver the best image and audio quality content. Dolby Vision Atmos and Dolby Vision HDR are present as well.
The M550M TV is set to launch in October 2023 with Google TV and Apple AirPlay. Meanwhile, buying the Z870M will come bundled with a free ROG Ally and Logitech Z906 Surround Speaker, whereas a free Bose TV Speaker is reserved for the Z670M TV.
