TVS REGZA Corporation has announced the development of its largest-ever television, a massive 116-inch RGB Mini LED model equipped with next-generation display technologies. The model is slated for commercial release later this year under the REGZA premium line, continuing Toshiba TV’s legacy of pushing the boundaries of picture quality and immersive home entertainment.

Other Features Besides the 116-inch Screen

Unlike conventional backlight systems that rely on white or blue LEDs, REGZA’s new RGB Mini LED system uses separate red, green, and blue LEDs, each individually controlled. This breakthrough delivers purer colours and a significantly wider gamut, capturing delicate natural tones and the vibrant glow of city nightscapes with remarkable precision.

At the heart of the 116-inch model is the REGZA Engine ZRα, a cutting-edge image processor powered by deep neural network (DNN) AI. The engine analyses video content in real time, driving each colour channel by zone to optimise brightness, reduce light bleed, and enhance overall picture clarity.

Its AI Scene Picture Quality Pro system identifies self-illuminated objects and reproduces them with stunning fidelity. For reflective scenes, it carefully balances peak colour brightness to achieve both natural tones and dazzling highlights. With 108-bit processing, the engine ensures smooth gradation across an expanded colour spectrum, offering unprecedented detail and depth.

With the upcoming 116-inch RGB Mini LED TV, REGZA is setting the stage for a new era of ultra-large, AI-powered displays, blending technological precision with cinematic immersion in the living room. Stay tuned for the official news coverage whenever Toshiba TV announces it, only at TechNave.com.
