Touch ‘n Go is stepping into the future of mobility with the debut of its next-generation open payment ecosystem at MyARTTE 2025. The new system represents a major leap in how Malaysians move, pay, and commute, so here's everything you need to know about the new Multi-Lane Fast Flow (MLFF) system.
Introducing Titan Flow and Malaysia’s Homegrown MLFF Platform
At the heart of the new ecosystem is Titan Flow, Touch ‘n Go’s proprietary MLFF platform. This system is built entirely in Malaysia and integrates cutting-edge technologies spanning tolling, parking, public transit, and corporate mobility. The goal: to make travel across the nation faster, smarter, and entirely cashless.

The platform uses AI-driven automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), radio-frequency identification (RFID), and 3D LiDAR sensors to identify and classify vehicles with pinpoint accuracy, even under heavy traffic or unpredictable weather. This ensures barrier-free tolling with accurate detection and enforcement, while allowing dynamic toll rates based on road and traffic conditions.
Expanding Into a Complete Mobility Ecosystem
Beyond highways, Touch ‘n Go’s open payment ecosystem extends its reach into parking, public transport, and fleet management.
- The Parking Ecosystem integrates ticketless, cashless systems powered by License Plate Recognition (LPR) and the Touch ‘n Go eWallet, supporting nationwide On-Street Parking partnerships.
- In public transport, the Digital Transit Pass enables a unified experience across services such as Prasarana Malaysia Berhad’s Rapid KL rail and bus networks, making everyday commutes smoother and more connected.
Touch ‘n Go currently supports over 24 million eKYC-verified users and 4 million RFID motorists, forming a robust digital backbone for Malaysia’s mobility future.
SOS Balance: Keeping Motorists on the Move
One of the standout innovations in this ecosystem is SOS Balance, or “Gerak Dulu, Nanti Roger!”, a lifesaver for motorists with insufficient toll balance. This feature lets users pass through tolls even when their balance is low, automatically deducting or prompting reloads later. Over RM42 million in toll transactions have already been facilitated through this feature, benefitting more than 14 million motorists.
