Twitter just added a new feature that nobody asked for

In this short news, we just learned that there's a new trend going on on Twitter but not in a good way. We were curious to see what's up with #RIPTwitter and apparently, Twitter has just decided to add on a new Stories tab at the home page. This made everyone on Twitter very upset and cranky.

A feature that nobody asked for, users are tweeting about if they wanted to use Stories, they would just go to Instagram or even Facebook for it. Reading from the dissatisfied tweets on #RIPTwitter, it seems that what users want the most is having an Edit button which makes sense. Even as an inactive Twitter user, having the Edit button is much more useful than Stories should one ever did a typo in the message. This new feature also has a name and it's called "Fleet" (lol).

Twitter is not the only website that is guilty of adding stories, but many companies have copied Snapchat's idea. In fact, Facebook is notoriously known for this as they have added Stories for WhatsApp and Instagram (even though the latter did popularize it).

The update is now in effect and it will be only a matter of time before your Twitter app has the new Fleet update. But what do you think of this? Do we seriously need another Stories tab on another social media app? Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
