Recently, Twitter threatened to sue Meta over its rival platform Threads. Now, Elon Musk’s social media platform company is further taking steps against the new app by blocking all of its links on Twitter’s search function.
As reported by 9to5Mac, the move was discretely implemented by Twitter. In fact, it was only noticed after various users tried to search links to Threads on the search function of the platform.
To clarify, you can still tweet links to Threads on your account. However, the links themselves or the tweets containing the links won’t be searchable via Twitter’s search feature.
It is uncertain when Twitter would be implementing such a move. However, one thing’s for sure, doing so does make Twitter’s public image look rather bad
