This year, we have been seeing a lot of interesting phone designs. Some are cool, some are meh, and with the triple rear camera trend on the rise, brands are getting quite creative to make it look cool. We already have a square-boxed and circular bump, as well as long pill-shaped ones, but why stop there?
Since smartphone brands love adding so many camera sensors, some folks from PhoneArena.com have come up with rather bizarre rear camera designs just for fun. Without further ado, below are some of the wacky camera designs they came up with for 2020.
The Illuminati camera can house three easily along with an LED flash. Or maybe they can just put one real big sensor as the eye there. As to how PhoneArena puts it - open your mind (and shutter) for the truth!
X for EXTREME (lol), this can fit in up to four sensors and certainly fits the young generation who likes to rebel. The possibilities are endless!
Of course, smartphone brands would also like to cater to the female target audience. A heart-shaped camera bump is perfect and can sport up to four sensors. If this really exists, it would probably be selling like hotcakes!
Speaking of catering to as many demographics as possible, smartphone brands should also take a look at religious people like this cross-shaped camera bump. It can certainly fit in a few sensors and you can also use it in church, so that your pastor won't frown on you for playing your phone. I see this as a win-win situation.
Or if you happen to be an influencer, which companies adore so much nowadays, they should also try the start-shaped camera bump approach and put in five cameras! I can see it now, the tagline - Light, powerful and with [insert smart features], this phone is built to empower life on-the-go as your inspiration anytime and anywhere!
Oh yes, smartphone brands are also getting into the night-mode trend so why not make a crescent moon-shaped camera smartphone? A perfect marketing tagline for this would be "Buy this phone and own the night!"
