Today, U Mobile has announced their collaboration with Knightsbridge Resources Sdn Bhd and officiating the launch of TraqKid. As the name suggest, it's a new mobile child tracking kit app that gives parents a sense of security on their children whereabouts and TraqKid's call centre, the app is only applicable to U Mobile SIM-based location services.
The pre-order for the tracking kit is available starting today (1 November 2017), subscription fee is RM58 monthly with U Mobile. Upon registration, the upfront fee for Personal Accident Insurance is RM36. To add on to that, Chairman of Knightsbridge Resources and Founder / CEO for Community Policy Malaysia, Kuan Chee Heng, was proud to share that the app is the first of its kind in Malaysia, offering parents the comfort to monitor on their mobile without other accessories because of the SIM-based location technology embedded in the U Mobile SIM card.
"In an emergency situation, parents can get assistance to locate their child with just a touch of a button. Once the alert is triggered, we will mobilise our five to the location where the child was last tracked." said Kuan.
