Today, U Mobile just announced a new range of Unlimited Wireless Broadband plans to cater to the needs of Malaysians relying on internet connection in this period. This Ultra Unlimited Wireless Broadband initiative consists of four plans - WB48 Study Plan, WB68 Work Plan, WB88 Work & Play Plan and WB128 Max Plan, going as low as RM48 per month.
As you can tell from the plan names, each plan was designed specifically for different needs. Although it's labelled with unlimited internet data, it's only for selected apps. For example, users can access unlimited internet data on Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Office 365 apps for free on the WB68 Work Plan, then the rest of the 30GB data is for the rest. For the "Play" part, it seems to include Shopee, Lazada, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Garena Call of Duty: Mobile and Garena Free Fire.
In conjunction with launching the new unlimited plans, the WB68 Work Plan, WB88 Work & Play Plan and WB128 Max Plan will have a promotional 50% discount starting from RM34 per month for all new and current U Mobile (only for Giler Unlimited GX68, Unlimited HERO P79, P99 or P139) customers. The discount will last for 24 months and the promotion will run for a limited time only.
