Today, U Mobile has announced that the 2021 SPM/STPM Special Data Package will be available for U Mobile prepaid users who are in institutions of higher learning. This is part of a joint industry initiative, under the Perlindungan Ekonomi dan Rakyat Malaysia (PERMAI) Assistance Package announced by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin recently this week.
For the record, the special package plan was initially for the SPM and STPM students on 6 January, but U Mobile decided to expand the plan to students in institutions of higher learning. This is only eligible for students who are born in between 1999 and 2004, which they can subscribe to this special data package which offers 15GB Internet data for 30 days at RM20. If you know someone interested in this, they may subscribe using the MyUMobile app or by dialling *118*3*12*2#.
Moreover, U Mobile is still continuing to provide the free daily 1GB until 30 April 2021. This free 1GB is for productivity and education purposes, and every active postpaid and prepaid U Mobile users may use it. More information on the special data package will be available on u.my/SPMSTPM effective from 25 January 2021 onwards.
