This week, U Mobile introduced its most comprehensive portfolio of ULTRA5G solutions to date, covering prepaid, postpaid, and enterprise segments. Built on its next-generation AI-driven 5G standalone network, the new lineup focuses on delivering faster speeds, higher data quotas, stronger security, and more reliable connectivity across different user needs in Malaysia.
New ULTRA Prepaid and Postpaid Plans
Starting with the prepaid side, U Mobile is introducing unlimited speed data with no speed caps, alongside a new ULTRA Prepaid SIM pack priced at RM10 that includes unlimited data, calls, and hotspot usage. Higher-tier prepaid plans now offer up to 500GB of data at unlimited speeds starting from RM28. A standout feature is the introduction of ULTRA5G Priority Pass, which allows users to activate prioritised network access during congested periods. This can be purchased on demand, with pricing starting from RM2 for one hour.
For postpaid users, plans scale up significantly with up to 1000GB of data and 15GB of global roaming included at no extra cost. The ULTRA Family 128 plan leads the lineup with four shareable lines, 1000GB shared data, and 15GB roaming across more than 60 destinations. It also includes 12 ULTRA5G Priority Passes monthly, along with bundled perks such as a Buy 1 Free 1 5G smartphone offer.
Additional features include ULTRA WatchShare support for wearables, including Apple Watch, along with advanced optional security services covering identity theft, malware, and cyber fraud. Security is also built directly into the network, offering protection against phishing SMS, scam calls, and unsafe websites without requiring additional apps.
ULTRA5G Trial Aims to Bring More Users Onboard
To encourage adoption, U Mobile is offering a free 7-day ULTRA5G trial for users with eSIM-compatible devices. The trial includes 10GB of high-speed 5G data and free calls to all networks, allowing users to experience the network before committing to a plan.
Enterprise Plans
On the business side, U Mobile is taking a different approach with its ULTRA Business plans, focusing on performance prioritisation, seamless global connectivity, and built-in security. At the core is ULTRA5G Reserve, described as an industry-first feature in Malaysia. It prioritises enterprise network traffic over regular users, delivering up to four times better performance during peak usage periods.
Devices connected under this feature will also display a dedicated “ULTRA5G RESERVE” network identifier. Enterprise plans offer up to 2000GB of data, unlimited calls and SMS, and integrated security protections against malware, spyware, phishing, and data breaches at the network level.
Beyond Mobile With Full Business Connectivity Suite
U Mobile is also expanding beyond mobile plans into a broader enterprise ecosystem. This includes ULTRA Business WiFi for plug-and-play wireless connectivity, Business Fibre with speeds up to 10Gbps, Dedicated Internet Access for guaranteed bandwidth, and ULTRA IoT solutions for connected devices and smart operations.
