Ubisoft has finally announced a new shooting game after the rumours circulating on the internet for a while. Project Q, first mentioned as part of last September's Nvidia Geforce leak, is a new PvP battle arena game with the company claiming that it's not a Battle Royale title.

Ubisoft has mentioned on Twitter that Project Q is still in early development. Besides that, it also emphasized that the game is not a Battle Royale but will instead "feature a variety of PvP modes". The source assumes that it could be a low-player count arena shooter by moving away from the recent failures in the form of Hyper Scape.

Not only avoiding Battle Royale, but Ubisoft also has no plans to bring in NFTs. The company has an NFT project titled Unisoft Quartz, and it's having its rough times recently. Therefore, it might be why Ubisoft wants to slow things down and decided not to include it in the game.
