Itching for a new third-person shooter game? If you don't have it yet, you might want to go grab The Division in the next few days for free. Yup, Ubisoft is continuing its generous streak. After giving away Watch Dogs 2 in July, the company is going to give away the original The Division this month.

According to TechRadar, PC gamers will be able to grab The Division for free from now till 8 September 2020. But if you're an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, you'll have until the end of September to do so. The catch is that you'll have to add the game to your Uplay library before the deadline, which PC gamers can do so here. Once you have, the game will be yours permanently.

In case you've never heard of The Division, the game is set in New York after it was hit by a pandemic. You get to partner up with up to three other friends to take on the virtual streets of a city that has turned violent or play PvP matches. The multiplayer PvP is the game's best aspect, so if you enjoy such games you may want to try this out.

With that said, would you prefer getting the older game for free or play the sequel instead? Let us know what you think about The Division in the comments below! Also, stay tuned to TechNave.com for the trending news on tech or games.
