Have you gotten tired of true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds yet? You have? Too bad, because we're probably not going to see the end of them. Ultimate Ears is the next brand to jump onto the bandwagon and unveiled its UE Fits earbuds yesterday. It's currently available only in the US for an introductory price of USD199 (~RM828).
Ultimate Ears prides itself on its custom fitting for earphones and how it's implementing this with the UE Fits is by using a pair of gel-filled tips. These tips can be moulded to the contours of your ears, then harden permanently so that it's the right custom fit for you. A side benefit of such a good fit means that you can block out background noise. So while the UE Fits doesn't have active noise cancelling, its passive noise isolation should be just as good.
In terms of features, the UE Fits can be paired with an app that comes with multiple EQ settings. It also has dual microphones with wind noise reduction, providing audio clarity for your voice calls. Ultimate Ears said that the UE Fits will deliver an immersive audio experience, up to 20 hours of audio playback (with the charging case), and will be sweatproof.
