At a recent press event in New York, Acer made several new product announcements for the laptops and smartphone product lines. The Aspire S 13 is their latest entry to the thin and light Ultrabook for the masses. As part of the S series, it is both very thin (14.48mm) and light (1.3KG). It is slated to come to Malaysia soon, and we are expecting the prices to start from EUR 699 (around RM3077).
It has a hinge inspired by the Aspire V Nitro series laptop, and comes with a laundry list of features that is more than adequate. This includes a 13 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS screen with Acer’s BluelightShield technology (which also can be fitted with an optional 10-point touch panel), Intel’s sixth generation Core processor, up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. Plus, it comes with both USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Type C port, HDMI, 802.11ac Wifi and a battery life of up to 13 hours (with the optional battery pack).
